Abstract:
The article is devoted to the issues of mortgage lending as one of the possible ways of realization of main directions of the national project «Affordable and comfortable housing - to citizens of Russia» by systematization of doctrinal views of legal scholars and economists with the applicable civil legislation. The author reveals the objectives, forms and types of mortgages. Special attention is paid to the legal basis and the material base of the functioning of the term «mortgage credit» at the level of regions and the country as a whole. You will also specify the direction of promoting the availability of mortgage lending to the wider society.
