Abstract:

This review article is devoted to the study of the electromagnetic spectrum; it mainly focuses on radio waves. An electromagnetic wave is composed of an electric field and a magnetic field that are oscillating together. Radio waves are waves from electromagnetic spectrum that have a wide range of wavelengths and frequencies. The properties of waves are presented by speed of light, different wavelengths of EM spectrum that cause radiation to react differently with different materials, wide band of frequencies. Special attention is paid to a new outstanding discovery of American engineers, which let people look through walls. This invention is extremely useful for rescue activities.
