Abstract:

This article considers the notion of the “point of view” and its aspects in the text. It also includes the examples of how the point of view is expressed in G. Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984” in the four main aspects (in accordance with the classification by B.A. Uspenski). The category of the point of view presents one of the brightest tools for creating the counterpoint in the novel.
